Novares & Les Arts Métiers united to stimulate creativity through the ENSAM Hackathon

June 14th, 2024

More than 130 Students in Engineering participated in the innovation competition to generate ideas, to design solutions and solicit thinking and development of technical concepts during the event which took place in Lille (France) from June 10th to 12th.

Within ENSAM (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers) some students must carry out a project whose objective is to suggest solutions to a business innovation problem. In this context, students are invited to participate in projects involving companies, in order to allow a first approach to the industrial world.

Les Arts & Métiers, partner of Novares, invited the Engineers of ENSAM to elaborate a technical report which was presented orally on the theme: Technologies and choice of a concept of a tire particles / brake pads collector on EX body part type wheel arch liner (mudguard) / wheel hubcap, depending on the nature, physical properties, and location of the particles.

Guillaume HUGUET, Product Innovation Leader based in Izernore (France) represented Novares and moderated the debates alongside the ENSAM Representatives, bringing his competencies and know-how in the field of development and production of plastic components and systems.

The Novares and Arts et Métiers partnership has been strengthened over the years with the organization of numerous events around the development of innovation. This hackathon once again, made it possible to develop relationships and discussion opportunities to provide pragmatic solutions and better meet the automotive industry expectations.
